A buyer group is a model where several purchasers join forces to leverage their collective power in negotiating with the project developer.
There’s no partnership, ownership, or legal commitment among buyers. their only connection is purchasing in the same project at the same time.
The developer, in turn, benefits from the buyer group’s existence: it allows him to prove market viability to the bank and reduce marketing costs. In return, he rewards the buyer group with exceptionally attractive terms – in price, payment conditions, and unit specifications, offered exclusively to the group.
